As one of Britain’s up-and-coming female blacksmiths, I specialise in combining the unique elements of both wood and metal, to create beautiful, contemporary and highly individual pieces.
From my workshop in the heart of West Yorkshire’s Pennine hills, I have created a diverse portfolio of work which includes furniture, for both home and garden, sculpture, garden accessories and gifts. More Info »I launched my own company, Big Black House Design Co. in 2002 – so titled, as my home and thus, workshops, were once described by the local postman as ‘big and black and you can’t miss it’. The name stuck and has since been earning me a reputation for highly individual and creative work.
