Large tables can be made in a variety of shapes – rectangular, square, oval or round, and can have either a central stem or a ‘leg at each corner’ type. These tables can be used with any chair / bench combination to make a dining set.

All my garden furniture pieces are made from galvanised steel and oak.
The steel is initially bright but weathers down to a soft grey and won’t rust. The oak is treated with a wax oil, which you can continue to apply to maintain its look or you can leave the oak to simply ‘silver up’ as it weathers. You may notice a slight amount of brown staining now and again on the metalwork, after heavy rain – this is nothing to worry about, just a bit of tannin leech from the oak and can usually be removed with a scouring pad and possibly a bit of white spirit.
You don’t need to do anything with the metalwork. The wood is treated with OMSO UV Protection Oil Extra and you simply apply another coat as, and when, needed.
Yes its fine to leave outside – you may need to oil the wood a little more frequently though due to winter rain.
Yes, it’s possible to paint over the top of the galvanising. Please call for further information. There is a small charge for a painted finish.
